Sustainable (Bio-)Tech

The research centre (Bio-)Tech wants to contribute to an ethically responsible use of resources (plants, animals, technology, etc.). Throughout our projects, we strive to change attitudes, mentalities, and behaviours. We do this by unlocking existing (academic) knowledge and technology, optimising systems and processes, and, where necessary, exploring alternative paradigms. We focus on challenges and solutions that are innovative, socially relevant and sustainable. Our students actively participate in the projects: they bring a fresh perspective and are the professionals of the future.
