      Exchange programmes

Odisee is the co-college. To use a buzzword: we love co-creation. That means we tackle your studies together. Your teachers are not just teachers but coaches. Your internships are not just companies or institutes, but connections. With us, your campus is not just a campus but a place where comfort, meeting, sustainability and innovation go hand in hand. Spotted all the co-words in the previous sentences? No coincidence of course.

Do you wish to study at Odisee as an exchange student? Carrying out a mobility period at Odisee is possible in the following courses.

      Extra financial assistance

Studying involves costs. Sometimes a scholarship from the Flemish government can cover the costs but this is not always the case. Some students are not entitled to a scholarship. The student services department (STUVO) tries to help in different ways. Find out how!

NOTE: Not all the services below apply to international students residing in Belgium with a student visa. For more information scroll all the way down, select a campus and contact a staff member!

    9. Onderzoeksproject

Face to face with the Public Centre for Social Welfare (OCMW)

The ongoing crisis in Brussels’ Public Centres for Social Welfare (OCMWs) is increasing tensions between beneficiaries and social workers. What is currently missing are calm, ritualised practices in which the fractured dignity of both beneficiaries and social workers can be acknowledged and processed in a connecting way. Building on the previous research project “Turning the vulnerability of Brussels residents on social assistance”, and the methodology developed therein—digital storytelling, reading workshops, and expo-dialogues—this project aims to address that gap.

      • Communication: contacting teachers and fellow students, asking for help, raising obstacles, taking initiative…
