How do you get to Campus Aalst?
By public transport
Campus Aalst is easily accessible by train and bus.
Use the links below to plan your exact route via the official websites of NMBS (Belgian Rail) and De Lijn (public transport). You can also check real-time bus schedules to and from the campus.
These bus lines stop directly at the campus (Odisee Nieuwerkerken Aalst):
Lines 80, 87, 802, 803, 804, and De Lijn Flex.
Lines 1 and 2 stop at Aalst Stedelijk Ziekenhuis, which is within walking distance of the campus.
Coming from Ghent or Erpe-Mere? You can also take lines 20, 25, 209, 252, 253, or 254 and get off at Sinte Annalaan, a 10-minute walk from campus.
By bike

Cycling boosts happiness, improves mental well-being, and is great for your fitness and the environment. Our campus is easily accessible by bike.
Cycle Route 4 from the City of Aalst passes right by our campus.

- Campus > Aalst city park: 6 min
- Campus > Schotte sports center: 9 min
Bike parking
The campus offers 240 covered and secured bike parking spots, located on level -1. You can access them with your student card. Make sure to always lock your bike properly.
There’s also a bike repair station available in the bike parking area. Got a flat tire? You can get a tire repair kit at the reception desk.
By car
The campus is located near the E40 and is easily accessible by car.
However, we encourage you to come to campus on foot, by bike, scooter, public transport or a combination of these.
If you do choose to come by car, please note that the parking lot may be full and a parking spot is not always guaranteed.
If the campus parking is full, you can use one of the nearby public parking options:
- Parking lane along the Siesegemlaan, up to the no-parking sign (free): 5-minute walk
- AZorg Merestraat parking (paid): 7-minute walk
- Keizershallen parking (paid): 12-minute walk
