Do you compete at a high level in sports and, as a result, face challenges balancing your studies with attending your practices and competitions?  

If so, we will determine how we can support you. This may involve providing information relevant to your situation, offering a customized program, arranging special accommodations within the educational setting, and/or referring you to support services within or outside of Odisee. 

Students must submit their application via the student status application system, no later than the deadline for submitting the ISP (before 15 october if you want to start in the first semester, before 25 february if you want to start in the second semester) or as soon as possible after the circumstances have arisen.

With this status, you can apply for accommodations and/or obtain a certificate for your scholarship from the Flemish government.

You can submit one of the following documents:

• a proof of registration with the Flemish Agency for Persons with Disabilities
• a certificate of recognition of disability from the Directorate General for Persons with Disabilities in (certificate of increased child benefit or certificate of income replacement and/or integration allowance)
• a motivated report delivered by a recognized service (centre for student counselling, rehabilitation centre, Code, Praxis P….) if you have a learning disability. This report contains research reports, an overview of the teststaken, the results achieved and the conclusions of the research
• a motivated report or a report common curriculum from the centre for student counselling if you received support in the context of special educational needs in secondary education
• a report of the internal student guidance if you received facilities in secondary education (increased care)
   

Not in the possession of any of the above documents?

Then you must submit a VLOR document, completed by a doctor or recognized psychologist who is authorized for the target group. If there are multiple diagnoses, it is important that all of them are mentioned in the VLOR document.

Important: The document must be completed in full and provided with the stam pof the attending physician.

In the final phase of your studies you write a bachelor thesis. You will submit this thesis digitally at the end of the course and your thesis will be included in the Odisee digital archive.

You, as the author, specify which will be the consultability of your undergraduate thesis. You have different degrees of accessibility.

• This allows your final paper to be completely confidential.
• In addition, you have the option to make your bachelor's thesis readable within Odisee, this with immediate effect or with deferred effect (e.g. only after 5 years).
• Finally, there is also the option to make your bachelor's thesis completely open and freely accessible on the Internet.
