The current, destabilising asylum crisis is also bringing unaccompanied young people and even children to Europe unaccompanied by adults. Receiving countries are opting for small-scale reception of unaccompanied minors in foster care. The FORM project aims to develop a model of therapeutic foster care, training for professionals, a database of good practices and policy recommendations that foster care services can use to get started.
