E3-Practicum strengthens international teaching practice for student teachers in Europe with a competence framework, a handbook and collaboration on eTwinning.

FACTS stimulates citizenship by strengthening news literacy on sustainability and the environment within teacher education. The project provides students and lecturers with the tools to engage critically with news, counter misinformation, and understand the importance of reliable reporting in a democracy.

In the research project WaardenVerkenner, research centre ExploRatio is developing a methodology to support teachers in making sensitive societal topics discussable in primary schools. This accessible methodology combines artistic approaches and philosophical dialogue techniques to encourage pupils to think critically about diverse perspectives within a safe classroom environment.

Language in Action During the Silent Period empowers young preschoolers (ages 2.5–4) right from the start of their school journey. With a digital toolkit and practical learning pathway, we support teachers in activating language use among multilingual children—even when they speak very little. GRASP aims to help elementary school students improve their language comprehension and critical thinking skills.

The PLONS project is a citizen science initiative with the primary objective of raising awareness among children about plastic pollution in waterways.

Through professional learning communities (PLCs), 45 schools are actively working to build, implement, and sustain their broad basic care and enhanced support systems. Throughout this process, we investigate to what extent this trajectory contributes to the professional growth of these school leaders. Within this growth, we take a closer look at educational leadership.
