Not every international experience is the same. Depending on your programme and interests, you can choose a study abroad programme, a traineeship abroad, a short-term mobility programme, or a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP).

Going abroad with a grant? 

Renewed grant policy for exchanges from academic year 2027-2028

Are you going abroad through one of the recognised mobility options? You may be eligible for a grant. The grant you can apply for depends on your destination, type of mobility and personal situation.

PLEASE NOTE: A grant provides financial support to help make your exchange possible, but it will not cover all the costs of your stay abroad.

Below, you can quickly find out which financial support is available to you. You apply for a grant when you register for your exchange, before you go abroad.

For exchanges outside Europe, our grant policy focuses on supporting students who need financial support the most. We also prioritise cooperation with sustainable and long-term study and traineeship partners.
